About us
IncenseNashtrays is a publication documenting the history and cultural impact of Black American music, and is the editorial arm of the Black American Music Family Tree Historical Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Orders and pricing
All products are made to order. Placing an order is an offer to purchase; we may decline or cancel any order, including where an item is unavailable or a price has been listed in error. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.
Returns and exchanges
All sales are final. We do not issue refunds. Damaged, defective, or misprinted items may be exchanged within 14 days of delivery. Full details are in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Shipping
Orders are printed and shipped by our fulfillment partner. Delivery estimates are provided by that partner and by the carrier, and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

All written content, research, photography, artwork, product designs, logos, and other material on this site are the property of Dwann Brown, IncenseNashtrays, or the Black American Music Family Tree Historical Foundation, and are protected by copyright.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, or resell any portion of this site or its products without prior written permission, except for brief quotations used for commentary, criticism, education, or review with proper attribution and a link to the original.
Products purchased from the shop are for personal use. They may not be resold, reproduced, or used commercially.

The historical research published here reflects extensive study and firsthand interviews, and represents the author’s analysis and conclusions. It is offered for educational and journalistic purposes.
