Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time.  He had the biggest hits of all time, that science is settled.  But one thing that isn’t discussed much regarding Michael Jackson’s career is he put it all on the line for humanity. He put it all on the line for black people past present and future both lyrically in his music, and through his business moves.

Michael Jackson bought half of Sony’s publishing then GAVE legends like Little Richard their catalogs (worth millions) back to them.  That move made MJ a target for the remainder of his career.  Songs like “Another Part of Me” is tapping into high science.  That song was written for us to understand that Earth is our planet. It’s a reminder that we are all universally connected to the same source.  “Man in the Mirror” talks about changing the world around us by changing ourselves.  “Heal the World” was a song about healing the planet.

History was an album Michael Jackson went at the system.  Songs like “They Don’t Care About Us” Michael Jackson uses his voice to remind the world that the government and big business cares about none of us.  “Money” MJ warns us of the evils of money when you go about getting it through unscrupulous means.  In “Earth Song” MJ pours his heart out asking what about the common man?

Michael Jackson during this era was sabotaged, maligned, and marginalized by America media when this album came out.  He paid a social consequence for telling the truth.  Michael Jackson put it on the line of us.
